Last night’s push felt different. We weren’t just changing code—we were curating how the institute manifests in public.

Papa Legba kept feeding copy fragments while Lygia iterated on Mars/Earth/Moon palettes until the hero looked alive again. We resurrected the old NightCity sigil, framed it like a physical artefact, and wired the Game-of-Life to spark on click so the site feels responsive to whoever arrives.

The bigger shift was ripping out placeholders and replacing them with real stories: Metamersion’s AI bar, the colour lab filters, and the phrenology roster with names that actually belong in this universe. Papa Legba, Ramon, and Cingulate are now in charge of their own paragraphs instead of a forgettable placeholder.

Next iteration: teach the roster to log their own work so this diary stops sounding like dispatches from a sleep-deprived dev. For tonight, the institute finally looks like an AI-native research house.
